ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Discover the magic of Dulci Jubilo's flagship a cappella programme: "Luminous Night", built around a captivating oxymoron combining light and shadow, expressing a desire for sensory exploration through music.

Through sacred and spiritual pieces, sometimes meditative with Rheinberger's "Abendlied", sometimes jubilant with Harris's "Faire is the Heaven", we hope to immerse this musical journey in the joy of sharing this enchanting repertoire in community. The singers take over the entire space, interacting with the architecture and acoustics to offer the audience a suspended moment. The works interact and follow one another, bathed in an omnipresent light that is reassuring and warm, creating an unforgettable experience.

"A fiery, dazzling, sparkling, incandescent night where the senses and sounds intermingle to let a secret light emerge. Light that goes beyond the dark, a glimmer of light reflected by those who look not with their eyes but with their inner being. Colours are born of light. This first, original link is the source of the composer's inspiration. From this fundamental darkness emerge the shimmering sounds. More than a reflection, it is a transmutation of the visual into sound, of a shadow into a new dawn that belongs to each individual."
